HM Guild v Heaton Mersey C

Same first quarter as last time we played Guild at home.  The pitch remained remarkably good considering the rainfall in the last few days.  The game started with promise and stayed close until 1/2 time when we had the H/Mersey 3rd quarter nightmare! Stuart Barlow had an exceptional game keeping there attack player 'piggy' to only one goal after he scored 10 last time.  Jack also had a great game in centre....a family day. Davo had an excellent game as well with a good work rate and was surprised he only scored the 2.  Rob Alltoft as lead ref only sent Mersey players off although the fouls were pretty even.  Thanks for playing second ref. Ged....where were you? Well done guys, don't be too disappointed.  we just need to work on the finishing.  Birmingham next week.  Let's show them the way!!!
