Heaton Mersey U19's v Cheadle U19's

Watching our team warm up against the weakest team in the division, we both agreed that we had a scary looking squad and that this was a warm-up game for harder matches to come. A chance for us to work out our best combinations and try a few different playing styles.  7-2 down at half time was not in the plan and things got worse .The game was a heady mix of mistakes, turnovers, bad decisions, 14 personal fouls and numerous technical fouls. We looked like a team who hadn't played together for a while or practiced much, funny that!  Credit to joe longley for keeping his head when all around were losing theirs and to Louis Gabriel who was the only one of us who wasn't absolutely rubbish and that includes the coaches.  Things have to change
